hate

There is a type of hate that turns your enemy's face into your own. Every accusation is a confession, every hurtful remark truer for yourself than the other. You don't become what you hate, you become someone who hates their own reflection. It's kinda like you're a dog barking at yourself in the mirror because you think it's someone else. I think dogs are much more forgivable though because there's no excuse for a human lack of consciousness. This lack of self-awareness hate is popular right now, most evident in the right like Zionists and Trump supporters. The people that say they hate xyz crimes are the ones committing said crimes. Trump, Musk, and other billionaires like them are the ones that steal jobs from Americans, not immigrants. You only have to look at the mass firing of federal workers and destruction of entire government organizations Trump's executed in the first month of his presidency to see that he's the one taking jobs away. The most dangerous, killer minority is the 1%, not transgender people or immigrants or people on Social Security.

There is a type of hate I feel that feels justifiable. This hate is a ball made of anger, not fear. It's like a fiery cannonball ready to destroy the glass towers rich pigs have built. It's years of rage multiplied by the generations past who have been wronged by capitalism & discrimination & undue cruelty from other humans. I wonder if these hates are the same object from different angles or something entirely different. My hate feels like love on fire most of the time, but there's a dagger of ice right in the middle, ready to pierce other haters' hearts. Are their hearts hollow? Will they explode on impact or really sink in, where we can hear the flesh rip, the blood gushing and heart seizing until it stops? Are  we the same?

I see tons of pro-Palestinian activists dehumanizing Zionists and MAGA bitches and I am so tempted to give in to that sentiment, but my strong beliefs that love is the power of humanity & every human is a human being hold me back. Don't I need to believe there is some kernel of humanity within them that I can reach? I think I really do... but maybe I need to give up on me being the one to reach them, and hope that personal influences change their views. Yet I don't believe there are more good people than bad people out there. I think we need to make bad good & cultivate natural good. Perhaps these can't be done by the same person at the same time.
