types of people?

On the ends of the spectrum you have extremely large and fucked up families and then fucked up people with no families. Everybody has shit. I'm closer than most my age to the no family side. To be frank, I'm closer than a lot of people, regardless of age, to the no family side. I've felt so alone and it’s true if I spend time thinking and thinking and thinking about it it will crush me again but that is what therapy and meds are for. To give you back the power to keep going. And get you out of your fucking head, literally, and see other people around you and realize everybody has. shit. You don’t have to be considerate about everybody’s shit because it’s not your problem but for the people who you’ve let into your life, dragged into your life, if you aren’t considerate they will leave, and they should.

I had the friends who had shit and the friends who didn’t, and I walked between the world I lived in and the world I could make. One half lives in a world where they treasure their childhood and family, but I know my shit was shit. I've accepted that I was born into a broken family caused by a broken society and part of feeling that acceptance is feeling sad, sometimes.

You can have family problems because of family and family problems because of no family. Different relationships with the same idea of "family problems". The different relationships to the problem are caused by things that have touched other people in different ways and I'm done paying attention to those that refuse to accept that people can have different relationships to the same thing. If we think “scientifically” faithfully about neurons and the purpose of humanity being connection, I can only grow dendrites and pour so much into a synapse before you need to grow too. Strong connections make a strong mind... a real self.
