With music all I really do is put other people together. I am not original at all. Everybody already exists!!! I really like making these for crushes though and others I love, so I think I’ll keep uploading them here :)))

Things I’m up to: loving and hating the world at the same time,,,, astounded by the capabilities of social media… trying to get better at language and writing and speaking and coming across as super awkward. The whole I am not original thing really applies to everything in my life! All I do is talk about and think about is other things but you know what, it’s really fun. There is so much cool stuff out there. I support and celebrate it with so much of my being and lowkey I think it’s kind of wonderful.

I hope people see the influence of other writers and philosophers in my writing and even in my life. bell hooks, Audre Lorde, James Baldwin, Fred Hampton, George Jackson, Thomas Sankara, Octavia Butler, Frantz Fanon, George Jackson, Jamaica Kincaid, Edwidge Dandicat, Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X... I think the Black voice is powerful. I also think Friedrich Nietzsche and Fyodor Dostoyevsky and Franz Kafka are in there with the existentialism and depression, and some of Plato as an underlier lol. I very much feel like a product of our time, the 21st century point of view pouring out of me.

So many amazing people of our generation too. Omar Hamad is a name that will always be known to me, Bisan Owda, Greta Thunberg, Melodie Ntumba, Muhammed Kaif. Truth and understandings of human life are simple and I am so thankful there are others who get it.
