The worse the present gets, the more tempted I am to go back to early American/Western history for comparison. Yet at the same time I ask myself, what's the point of going backwards and showing it's as horrible as it's always been? Who cares? 

So I return to my little void that is maybe getting picked up by bots from SEO I added a while back. Back here to craft an extremely compressed timeline of American colonialism to frame this moment of 2026 in time. 

1500s: Columbus and full colonizer battles over the lands of the Americas. Start of trans-Atlantic slave trade and genocide of Indigenous peoples.
1600s: British settlers land in North America (particularly Massachusetts) to establish the Thirteen Colonies. Continue slavery and genocide.
1700s: British colonial rule over Thirteen Colonies continues until 'American Revolution' in 1776. Continue slavery and genocide.
1800s: American rule expands Westward. Slavery changes form to sharecropping and Jim Crow, genocide continues across the nation.
1900s: Continental U.S. Empire is established. Jim Crow becomes prison-industrial complex, genocide continues (arguably at a slower pace). Tactics of hijacking  / infiltrating POC power diversify.
2000s: Prison-industrial complex and genocide of indigenous people continues at home. 

ICE members now were all the people fighting FOR segregation from 1864-1964. ICE "soldiers" now are the people who signed up to "settle" the American West from 1776-1850. ICE people would've been slave owners and colonizers throughout the 1500-1800s. ICE would be IOF if they lived in Israel instead of America. 

ICE members are the pink guards in Squid Game and the Peacekeepers from the Hunger Games. ICE are the human monsters we should've been warned about as kids: placid drones, stupid sadists, and irritating assholes. The first is not something I would instinctually clock as bad but with time I've learned that it's very true. Programmable people exist and that is very dangerous, because this society is evil. Imagine if people were programmed to be passively good, how much could get done if people mindlessly worked together on helpful tasks rather than endless shifts pulling children  away from families. 

I didn't end up making a poster describing this story of Jeffrey Epstein but I put many images in my essay because the evidence and subject are the files themselves. My argument is made by photographic evidence and the issue right now is that too many of the files are being held back from the public. Right now (1/6/2026) Trump has captured Maduro and is holding him in MDC in Brooklyn. It's surreal (yet reality!!!!) that I live in the same city historical events take place in. His actions affirm the era of 21st Century Colonialism and Imperialism we live in. I think they're going to absolutely destroy Venezuela and I think this escalation is partially because of the Epstein files. Feels like a stretch to most, but it's all connected. Epstein was deep in U.S. imperialism, sowing seeds of Western empire across the world. 

A long time ago I predicted the world would end in 2027. It fast approaches and I think there may be a chance for a most radical leap to revolution. Am I wrong to dream of a different path when so many have been laid out by past revolutionaries? I wonder if I need to embrace 21st Century technology as a weapon I can effectively use against the empire, employing old techniques with new technology (like them) to cause positive devastation. 

I think I'm going to share the psychoanalysis essay on my website and more pop culture stuff on Substack. This website is the space where I put words at times the world is not ready for, so I have proof when I look back that I was on the wave before all, that I made the wave people surf. 

First published on Substack and made a small instagram post to reach the masses, but it's not feeling like the method I want to convey this information in. I have huge posterboards or whiteboards I'd want to put together, if I had the space and resources I'd show the world how to understand things differently but I am still bound to typing, forget hand-drawing & don't write in notebooks often enough. My therapist told me to try doing something for myself so I think I'll take out the poster board and start plotting the story of Jeffrey Epstein, mapping his existence because it's not fully clear to everyone the way he worked. 

Truly, truly I wonder about the use of social media in this society. A comrade said, "We should have been scared of social media the way we are scared of AI." and I agree. The effect it's had on social standings, like how influencers develop and the space it's taken up in politics... Social media is media, and we the people are as swayed by it as people were in past times when television came out and photography and film. Immediately, they were used to connect the world to each other and affect change in it.

Every day I see horrifying videos and images of children being burned, blown up, suffering severe malnourishment, sick with mutations from the toxicity in the environment, headless, limbless, dead in a million ways, but it feels like me and my human friends are the only people seeing that. Fascists have huge media "legacies" and content that they see every day and it's genuinely not what I see. People are eating and living in nice spaces and having fun talking about white supremacy. Out there, millions of fascists (yes, millions) are living in a world of their own already, and are trying desperately to make it real here. Zionists want to make video games simulating being an IDF soldier in the genocide right now. The Trump Gaza video from the White House makes me want to VOMIT. Yet millions are watching on their phones, praising these demons and salivating at the chance to participate and prove their worth. I'm baffled at the state of the world. How did we get here? We as humanity, how the hell have we arrived at this expanding point? And I don't ask in a historical way, but in a human spirit way... what's happened and is happening?

Everybody should work on different things so we can all do what we want.

I first heard this story from King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, reading abridged Arthurian legend as a child and loving the lessons. Honestly now I don't remember many details about his kingdom but I remember the feeling of magnificence like the sun shining everywhere, not just on me or any one person. Letting a person who lights up the world lead the way is what humanity should be doing all the time.
