we live in dystopia

We truly live in a dystopia like The Hunger Games. We live in a crazy dystopia where Palestinians make content for social media so they can get enough engagement for TikTok to give them money and/or to spread awareness about their donation links. I think it's horrific that this is happening and I know I'm not alone. It feels worse than The Hunger Games because it's real. We're watching people scream and suffer and be horribly injured and buildings blowing up on the same screen we play Candy Crush on. This is a crazy dystopia because technology's power is unparalleled in history and we've never visualized things clearer. It's crazy because it feels impossible to do anything about it and create material change. It's crazy because what kind of fucking world creates conditions like this for other human beings? The lines of power that exist are more like nets made of barbed wire. It constricts and controls everyone.

Society is okay being in pain for the results we have. The master is fine sacrificing his hand for the power of the whip. What we need to do is make the whip burn him until he drops it. Turn their strengths into weaknesses. Can we use their greed to our advantage? Is it possible to find true anti-capitalists among the wealthy who will charitably give their resources back to the world?
