Capitalism is a game where your life is on the line. Shiv, Kendall, and Roman play but with different stakes. It's evident throughout the show but I want to highlight a moment from Season 4 Episode 3 between Mattson and Kendall gracelessly negotiating Mattson buying Waystar. Already rich. That's the playground Logan built for his children, an interesting form of capitalism, and it's true that they know next to nothing about the real world. Logan resents his kids because they don't know the value of a dollar yet he's the one who shielded them from it their entire life. His ego's a hundred feet tall yet he can't see himself for who he truly is, even if he knows he's evil. To him, that's just the nature of the game, not something he can change.
